बैंगलोर से अंबाला कूरियर · घर से पिकअप · 1–2 दिन

This is the quick one. Ambala sits in DTDC's Z3-NCR band on the DAR air service and clears in 1–2 days — the same ₹415 first kilogram that buys a three-to-four day transit to most of central India. If speed is what you are paying for, this lane already includes it.
DTDC's published rates for Haryana. Ambala prices off the state card, and what makes the lane unusual is not the money but the transit attached to it.

These are the DTDC rates for Haryana (zone Z3-NCR) — the same card applies across the state. Billed weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000). Surface and heavier air slabs carry a 3 kg minimum. Full rate card and how billing works →
Haryana’s card governs this address, so the slabs will look familiar if you have shipped to a Z4 town. The difference is the service code. Ambala moves on DAR, DTDC’s air product for the northern corridor, in the Z3-NCR band — and that turns ₹415 for the first kilogram into a 1–2 day delivery rather than a three-or-four day one. Same money, half the wait. It is the best value on this part of our card and it is worth knowing before you overspend.
Which brings us to express. It commits to 1 day and costs ₹709 for a kilogram. Against a Standard tier that is already doing 1–2 days, you are paying roughly double to remove a day that may not exist. We will book it if you want it, but we will tell you first that on Ambala it is the least useful upgrade on the card. Save it for the occasions when the difference between Tuesday and Wednesday genuinely costs you something.
Road is the opposite trade. ₹484 covers up to three kilos and ₹1,614 covers ten, against ₹2,593 by air — but transit stretches to 4–5 days. That surrenders the one thing this lane is good at. Use it for heavy stock where nobody is waiting, and use air for everything else. And note the floor: a single kilogram by road still costs ₹484, more than the air rate, so light shipments have no business in that column.
Ambala’s instrument and lab-glass workshops send and receive delicate items, and a 1–2 day lane suits them — less handling, less time in the system. What it does not do is forgive bad packing. We carton and cushion fragile pieces here before they go. Anything liquid, including reagents, solvents and oils, cannot be carried at all, on this or any DTDC service.
Documents have two options on the Haryana card. The ordinary line is ₹242 to 500 g and ₹415 to a kilogram, on the same one-to-two-day booking a parcel gets; the express line is ₹432 and ₹709, delivered next day. The extra buys the commitment, not the speed.
Cantt and City are two separate towns a few kilometres apart, and both take the same Haryana rate. Tell us which one you mean — it saves a phone call at the delivery end.

One to two days on the Standard air tier, which runs on the DAR service. Express commits to a single day. Road is four to five.
Rarely here. Standard is already doing 1–2 days for ₹415, so you are paying double to remove at most one day.
Routing, not distance. It sits in the Z3-NCR band on an air service, while many nearer towns are on the slower Z4 network.
No, both price on the Haryana card. But give us the right one so the delivery agent does not lose a day.
Above three kilos, if the extra three days cost you nothing. Below that its ₹484 minimum beats the air rate for the wrong reason.
By volumetric weight where it exceeds actual weight — length × width × height in centimetres divided by 5000.
No. Collection anywhere in Bangalore is free, at any weight, any day of the week.
Tell us the weight and which side of Ambala it is bound for. We will confirm the slab on the call.
