Gaya books on DTDC's Bihar rate card, zone Z4, and travels on the DNB service: 2–3 days for a Standard parcel. The important thing to know before you choose a tier is that the road column on this card runs 7–8 days and costs more than air below three kilos — a combination that traps a lot of light shipments.

Start with the trap, because it costs people money every week. On this card the road tier bills a minimum of three kilograms. Send a one-kilo box that way and you pay ₹484, while the air tier carries the same box for ₹415 and gets it there five days sooner. Under three kilos, road freight to Bihar is both slower and more expensive. There is nothing clever hiding in it.
Above the floor the picture inverts properly. Ten kilos is ₹1,614 by road against ₹2,593 on Standard, and twenty-five is ₹4,036 against ₹6,481. If what you are sending is heavy, cheap and nobody is counting the days — shop stock, books, a box of household things going ahead of a move — that is the column to use. Just be honest with yourself about seven to eight days, because on this lane that is a real number and not a cushion.
The air tiers sit close together. Standard quotes two to three days at ₹415 for the first kilo; Premium quotes two days at ₹813. You are paying roughly double for the removal of one uncertain day, which is worth it for a deadline and not much else. Premium also has no 50 kg slab here, so the heaviest air bookings need a conversation rather than a lookup.
Documents carry two scales on the Bihar card and the gap between them is the widest on this page. Standard runs ₹242 for 500 g and ₹761 for two kilos; express runs ₹496 and ₹1,446 for the same envelopes. Unless a closing date is driving it, the Standard document row is the one to book.
City pincodes run through the 823 block. Bodh Gaya is a separate delivery point a few kilometres south and books on the same state card.
