Solapur is quoted from DTDC's Maharashtra card on DNB routing, with air at 3–4 days and road at 5–6. It is much the nearest destination on our northbound list, but pricing is zonal, not by the kilometre — Solapur sits in Z4 like Kanpur or Bokaro, and the slabs are identical.
DTDC's published rates for Maharashtra — the card Solapur is booked against. We reproduce it as issued, tax inside, with no counter charge added on top.

These are the DTDC rates for Maharashtra (zone Z4) — the same card applies across the state. Billed weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000). Surface and heavier air slabs carry a 3 kg minimum. Full rate card and how billing works →
A fair question about this lane: Solapur is a night’s drive from Bengaluru, so why does it cost the same as a city eighteen hundred kilometres further on? Because DTDC prices by zone. Maharashtra is Z4, and every Z4 destination reads the same slabs whether it is next door or three states away. We do not get a discount for the short haul and so we cannot pass one on. What we can do is be straight about which tier to take.
Air is ₹415 for the first kilo and ₹2,593 at 10 kg, arriving in 3–4 days. Road is ₹484 to 3 kg and ₹1,614 at 10 kg, arriving in 5–6. That two-day difference is the smallest air-to-road gap on our Maharashtra lanes, which makes the road tier unusually easy to recommend on anything that is not time-critical.
The saving grows with the box. At 25 kg it is ₹4,036 by road against ₹6,481 by air; at 50 kg, ₹8,072 against ₹12,962. Nearly five thousand rupees kept on a full consignment, for two extra days.
Premium is ₹813 at 1 kg for a 3 day commitment, and it has no 50 kg slab — if you need weight and speed together, Standard is the only tier that offers both. Documents have both columns on this card: ₹242 for 500 g and ₹1,106 at 3 kg on the ordinary one, ₹496 and ₹2,080 in the air.
City pincodes run 413001 to 413007, and the wider district prices off the same Maharashtra card.

The card is zonal. Maharashtra is Z4, and Z4 costs the same everywhere it applies. We would rather explain that than pretend the rate is distance-based.
Three to four days by air, three on Premium, five to six by road.
Road, at ₹4,036 against ₹6,481 by air, for roughly two days more in transit.
Standard runs to 50 kg at ₹12,962. Premium's table stops at 25 kg, so heavy urgent consignments go Standard.
Yes, all on the same Maharashtra card. Tell us the pincode and we will confirm the slab first.
Actual weight or L × W × H in cm ÷ 5000, whichever is higher. Cloth bundles are dense, so they usually bill on the scale.
No. Collection is free anywhere in Bangalore, at any weight, on every tier.
Tell us the weight and whether it has a deadline. If it does not, we will usually point you at the road tier.
