बैंगलोर से अलवर कूरियर · मुफ़्त पिकअप · 3–4 दिन
Counter in HSR Layout, collection anywhere in the city — 9164995001.
Alwar is close enough to Delhi that people expect the metro card. It is not priced that way. It has a row of its own on our DTDC sheet, in zone Z4 on the DNB service, quoted against pincode 301001. Air takes 3–4 days, road 6–7.
DTDC's own published card for Alwar, quoted against pincode 301001 and copied here unchanged. We take no margin on top of it.

Rates for Alwar (pincode 301001), DTDC service DNB. Billed weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000). Surface and heavier air slabs carry a 3 kg minimum. Full rate card and how billing works →
The assumption we correct most often on this lane is that Alwar rides the Delhi card because it sits on the corridor between Delhi and Jaipur. It does not. DTDC gives Alwar its own entry in zone Z4, on the DNB service, and that entry is a good deal cheaper for anything heavy than the NCR pricing people expect.
Air opens at ₹415 for the first kilogram, in hand in 3–4 days. Premium is ₹813 and commits to three days, which is simply the early edge of the Standard window. That is worth naming plainly: on this lane Premium does not outrun Standard, it removes the fourth day. Watch the Premium slabs as well — ₹813 at 1 kg becomes ₹2,080 at 3 kg, a step far sharper than the ₹415 to ₹778 the Standard column takes over the same ground.
Road freight sits at ₹484 and runs 6–7 days. Its billing starts at three kilograms, so light shipments are penalised: send one kilo by road and you pay ₹484 to wait an extra three or four days for something air would have carried for ₹415. The saving only appears once there is real weight in the box, and then it is large — ₹1,614 against ₹2,593 at 10 kg, ₹4,034 against ₹6,483 at 25 kg, and ₹8,068 against ₹12,966 at the top slab.
Documents have a Standard column here, which is not true everywhere in the north: ₹242 for 500 g against ₹496 express. Beyond a kilo of paper, check the parcel column first — 3 kg of documents bills ₹1,106 where a 3 kg Standard parcel is ₹778.
Two shipments have gone to Alwar on our DTDC account. Not a lane we run daily, and we would rather say so than dress it up.
Alwar city and the 301xxx addresses around it price off the same row. The big industrial towns further north in the district can carry their own entries, so send us the pincode.

No. It has its own Z4 row on the DTDC card, quoted against pincode 301001, and for weight above a few kilos it works out cheaper than the metro pricing people assume.
Three to four days by air, three on Premium, six to seven if you book the road tier.
The road column at ₹1,614 against ₹2,593 by air — provided the extra three days do not matter.
Only when a fixed date is involved. It costs ₹813 against ₹415 at a kilo and delivers on day three, which Standard often does anyway.
Yes, but they are frequently quoted on their own rows rather than the Alwar one. Give us the pincode and we will confirm the figure before booking.
The greater of scale weight and length × width × height in centimetres ÷ 5000. Bulky light cartons bill on volume.
Tell us the weight and the pincode. We quote off the card above and collect the same day.
