Amritsar does not have its own line on the DTDC card we hold. It prices on the Punjab state zone rate — Z4, service DNB — and so does every other town in the state. Standard reaches in 2–3 days. We would rather tell you that than pretend to a city-specific Amritsar rate we do not have.

The number that should decide your booking is the Surface transit: 6–7 days, against 2–3 days on Standard. That is the widest tier gap on any route we handle out of Bangalore.
Which makes the light-weight arithmetic blunt. A 1 kg parcel is ₹484 on Surface and ₹415 on Standard — more money, four days slower. The 3 kg minimum holds ₹484 up to 3 kg, where Standard asks ₹830, so the crossover sits exactly at 3 kg. Above it Surface starts paying: ₹1,614 at 10 kg against ₹2,593.
Documents are where the Punjab card is kindest. The standard document line opens at ₹242 for 500 g — comfortably under the ₹415 a 1 kg parcel costs — and carries on at ₹415, ₹761 and ₹1,106 to three kilos. Premium documents price the same weights from ₹496. Send paper as paper here; the parcel column only wins at the three-kilo mark, ₹830 against ₹1,106.
One more thing the card decides for you: Premium stops at 25 kg, where Standard and Surface both carry a 50 kg slab.
