Bharatpur sits in the far east of Rajasthan, nearer Agra than Jaipur. None of that reaches the pricing: DTDC zones the whole state at Z4 on the DNB product, so a consignment to Deeg is quoted exactly as one to the town centre.
The column worth arguing about is Premium. It commits to three days where Standard already says three to four, and it charges ₹813 against ₹415 for a single kilogram to do it. That is close to double the money for, at best, a day — and on many bookings for no day at all. Unless a delivery has a hard date attached, Standard is the honest choice on this lane and we will tell you so on the phone.
Road freight is the tier that actually changes the bill. It runs 6–7 days, three behind the air tier, and it bills from a three-kilogram floor. That floor is why one kilogram costs ₹484 by road against ₹415 by air — slower and dearer, so never book it for a light parcel. From three kilograms up the logic inverts: ₹484 against ₹830, then ₹807 against ₹1,383 at five kilos, and ₹1,614 against ₹2,593 at ten. At the top of the card a 50 kg consignment is ₹8,072 by road and ₹12,962 by air, which is roughly ₹161 a kilo instead of ₹259.
Paperwork sits on a ladder of its own, and its two columns are far apart. The Standard document row runs ₹242 for 500 g up to ₹1,106 at three kilograms; the Premium row covers the same weights at ₹496 up to ₹2,080. A thin envelope is therefore cheapest booked as a document rather than as a parcel — ₹242 against the ₹415 a single kilogram costs on the parcel column — and only a fixed date justifies the Premium figure.
Because the rate is a state one, the district towns are priced the same as the city. Give us the delivery pincode anyway — it is what the booking is made against.
