Here is a thing about state pricing that surprises people. Bulandshahr sits on the eastern edge of the NCR belt, and it costs precisely what an address in the far east of Uttar Pradesh costs, because DTDC prices the state as a single block. One card, zone Z4, service DNG, applied from the Yamuna to the Nepal border. That is not a Bulandshahr rate. It is a state rate, and we would rather say so than pretend the sheet is more precise than it is.
What the card charges: ₹415 for the opening kilogram by air, delivered in 3–4 days. Premium is ₹813 for three days — the good end of the same window, bought rather than beaten. Move up the Standard column and the steps are even: ₹830 at 3 kg, ₹1,383 at 5 kg, ₹2,593 at 10 kg.
Road freight is ₹484 and takes 6–7 days. It bills from a three-kilogram base, which decides everything about when to use it. One kilogram by road is ₹484 — more than the ₹415 air rate, for three days longer in transit. Nobody should book that. Five kilograms by road is ₹807 against ₹1,383 by air, and fifteen is ₹2,421 against ₹3,889. Weight is what makes road sensible, not thrift.
Anything breakable needs a word before it goes. The district around Khurja is ceramics country, and the road tier means more handling and a week in transit, so double-boxing is worth the extra rupees on anything breakable. We will pack it at the counter — bring it as it is.
Last thing, on paper. The Uttar Pradesh card publishes a Standard document rate as well as an express one, and the gap between them is worth knowing: ₹242 for 500 g and ₹415 for a kilogram on Standard, ₹496 and ₹813 on express.
