Faridabad gets the good air product. DAR is the same service that carries our Delhi traffic, and the schedule shows it: 1–2 days on Standard, next day on Premium, for a town more than two thousand kilometres from the counter.
The price is not the Delhi price, though, and that catches people out. Delhi city prices on its own line at ₹363 for the first kilogram; the Faridabad row opens at ₹415. Every NCR town has a line of its own — Gurgaon shares this service and this schedule, while Noida and Ghaziabad sit on the slower DNG product at 3–4 days for the same money. NCR is not one destination on this card, and treating it as one is how people end up expecting a delivery that was never promised.
Where Premium is concerned, this lane is the exception to our usual advice. It costs ₹709 against ₹415 for a single kilo, which is steep, but it buys a real next-day commitment across two thousand kilometres. The gap between the two air tiers is also at its narrowest around the 15 kg slab — ₹6,483 against ₹3,890, where ten kilos costs ₹5,688 against ₹2,593. If a heavy air consignment has to be there tomorrow, that is the weight at which paying for it hurts least.
Road freight is the tier to think hardest about. 4–5 days against 1–2 is three days surrendered, and under three kilos it is dearer as well: ₹484 is charged flat up to the three-kilo floor, above the ₹415 air rate. It earns its place from five kilos (₹807 against ₹1,297) and clearly at twenty-five (₹4,034 against ₹6,483), where the saving is worth the wait for stock rather than for anything someone is standing around waiting for.
