Kota is priced off DTDC's Rajasthan card rather than a city-specific sheet — a Z4 state rate on the DNB service, with Standard running 3–4 days from Bangalore. Everything quoted below applies statewide, not to Kota alone.
These are DTDC's published rates for Rajasthan, which is the card Kota is booked against. There is no Kota-only sheet, so what you see here holds for the state. GST at 18% is already included.

These are the DTDC rates for Rajasthan (zone Z4) — the same card applies across the state. Billed weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000). Surface and heavier air slabs carry a 3 kg minimum. Full rate card and how billing works →
Worth being precise about this before anything else: the table above is the Rajasthan state card, not a rate negotiated for Kota. DTDC zones the whole state at Z4 on the DNB service, so a parcel to Kota, Bundi or Jhalawar is priced the same way. Standard transit from Bangalore is 3–4 days, Premium commits to 3, and Surface is 6–7.
Two features of the Rajasthan card are worth knowing before you choose a service.
Documents are priced on two rows, and they cross the parcel table. The Standard document row opens at ₹242 for 500 g and climbs to ₹1,106 at 3 kg; Premium paper sits above it from ₹496. Below a kilo, the Standard document is the cheapest way to send paper to Kota by a wide margin. At exactly 1 kg it costs ₹415, the same as a 1 kg parcel. Past two kilos it stops being the bargain — 3 kg of documents is ₹1,106 where a 3 kg Standard parcel is ₹830.
The Premium parcel column stops early. It ends at 25 kg rather than continuing to 50 the way Standard and Surface do. Above 25 kg on Premium, the price is arranged per consignment.
On the Standard side, the Rajasthan slabs sit slightly above the equivalent city sheets at the light end — ₹830 at 3 kg and ₹1,383 at 5 kg — before converging with them from 10 kg upward. That makes Surface, with its flat ₹484 up to 3 kg, the better value earlier than usual: it undercuts Standard from three kilos and by 10 kg the gap is ₹1,614 against ₹2,593. The cost is three extra days.
Kota city pincodes run 324001 to 324010. Because the card is a state rate, the same figures cover the wider Hadoti belt.

Three to four days on Standard, three on Premium, and six to seven if it goes by road on Surface.
No, and we would rather say so. It is DTDC's Rajasthan card at Z4, which is what Kota is booked against. The same slabs apply across the state.
₹415 on Standard, ₹813 on Premium, ₹484 on Surface. All inclusive of 18% GST.
₹242 for 500 g on Standard, ₹496 on Premium. Standard documents reach ₹1,106 at 3 kg, so beyond two kilos a 3 kg Standard parcel at ₹830 is the cheaper booking.
At three kilos. Standard is ₹830 there against ₹484 on Surface, and the gap keeps widening — about ₹980 by 10 kg.
The Premium column on this card ends at 25 kg. Beyond that we arrange it per consignment; Standard and Surface both continue to 50 kg.
Yes. A state card means the same rate applies. Give us the pincode and we will confirm before booking.
No. Collection anywhere in Bangalore is free, and we bring packing material if you want it.
Tell us the weight and whether it can wait a week. That single answer usually decides whether you pay the air rate or the road one.
