बैंगलोर से मंगलूरु कूरियर · ज़ोन Z1 · 1–2 दिन
Counter at HSR Layout, or ask us to come to you — 9164995001.
Mangaluru stays inside Karnataka, which puts it in Z1, the cheapest band DTDC operates. A kilo costs less here than anywhere else we book, and it moves on service DRB in one to two days. Five consignments have gone coastward from our counter.
The Mangaluru row from our DTDC card, quoted against pincode 574201 in the Dakshina Kannada belt. Reproduced as printed, GST already inside.

Rates for Mangalore (pincode 574201), DTDC service DRB. Billed weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000). Surface and heavier air slabs carry a 3 kg minimum. Full rate card and how billing works →
Staying within Karnataka keeps this booking in Z1, and the effect on price is substantial. A single kilo is ₹196 — comfortably the lowest parcel rate on our card — and half a kilo of documents costs ₹127. Nothing else we book comes close.
Transit is one to two days on Standard via DRB, and Surface is only two to three. As on our other short coastal and southern lanes the tiers sit close together, but this one has a genuine oddity you should know about before spending money.
Premium is slower here than Standard. The card commits Premium to two days, while Standard is booked at one to two — and Premium charges ₹415 for the first kilo against ₹196. You would be paying more than double for a service that, on the schedule we hold, is not quicker. We list it because it is on the card. We do not recommend it, and we will say the same on the phone.
That leaves a straightforward choice between Standard and Surface. Under 3 kg, Standard wins on both counts, ₹196 against a ₹259 Surface minimum. From 3 kg Surface takes over — ₹259 where Standard wants ₹380, and ₹864 against ₹1,268 at ten kilos — at the cost of about a day.
Documents are priced on the Standard scale only on this row: ₹127 for 500 g, ₹196 for a kilo, ₹473 for a 3 kg bundle. There is no separate air-document rate for Mangaluru, which given the transit is no loss at all.
City pincodes are covered on this row along with much of the surrounding district. Tell us the delivery pincode and we will confirm before you book.

One to two days on Standard and two to three on Surface. This is one of the quicker lanes we handle.
That is what the card says, and we would rather show it than hide it. On this route Premium costs more and is not faster, so Standard is the sensible booking.
₹196 on Standard and ₹259 on Surface, both including GST. For a light parcel the Standard rate is the better of the two.
Three kilos. Below that the Surface minimum makes it dearer; at and above it, Surface is clearly cheaper for roughly one extra day.
₹127 for 500 g, ₹196 for 1 kg and ₹473 for 3 kg, on the Standard document scale.
Udupi has its own row on the card. Much of Dakshina Kannada is served on this one — give us the pincode and we will check it.
Yes, across Bangalore, whatever the weight, and we bring packing material if you need it.
Give us a weight and a pincode and we will price it from the Z1 card above. Collection across Bangalore is free.
