Meerut is an hour from Delhi by road, but on our card it is not an NCR destination: it prices in Z4 on the DNG service, quoted against 250001, and Standard is scheduled at 3–4 days rather than the 1–2 the Haryana towns get. Worth knowing before you promise someone a date.
DTDC's published figures for Meerut, quoted against pincode 250001 on service DNG, reproduced without a rupee added. GST is inside each number.

Rates for Meerut (pincode 250001), DTDC service DNG. Billed weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000). Surface and heavier air slabs carry a 3 kg minimum. Full rate card and how billing works →
A fair number of enquiries on this lane start from a wrong assumption — that because Meerut is a short drive from Delhi, it behaves like Delhi. On the DTDC card it does not. Meerut carries its own Z4 row on the DNG routing, with Standard at 3–4 days and Premium at 3, where the NCR band next door is quoted at 1–2. Plan against the number for this destination, not the one for the capital.
The prices are the ordinary Z4 sheet: ₹415 for the first kilo by air, ₹778 at 3 kg, ₹1,297 at 5 kg. Documents are separately and usefully cheap, from ₹242 for 500 g on the Standard scale, ₹1,106 for a 3 kg bundle of paper.
Surface runs 6–7 days, about double the air schedule, and the price ladder is the familiar one: a flat ₹484 covering everything up to 3 kg, then ₹807 at 5 kg, ₹1,614 at 10 kg, ₹4,034 at 25 kg. Compare those against ₹1,297, ₹2,593 and ₹6,483 by air and the direction of travel is obvious for anything heavy.
What is less obvious, and catches people out, is the bottom of that column. One kilo by road costs ₹484 against ₹415 by air. You would be paying extra to wait three extra days. Below 3 kg, Standard is simply the correct answer on this lane and we will tell you so rather than take the bigger booking.
Premium at ₹813 shaves the 3–4 day window to a flat 3. That is a commitment rather than a transformation. It has its uses — a document that must be in somebody’s hands on a stated day — and outside those, it is money spent on reassurance.
The rate is quoted against 250001. The rest of the city series and the district towns around it price off the same Z4 band.

Same Z4 band — confirm the pincode
No. Delhi and the Haryana NCR towns are quoted at 1–2 days, but Meerut is a Z4 destination at 3–4 days on Standard and 3 on Premium. We book against its own schedule.
Standard, at ₹415. Surface is ₹484 for the same kilo because of its 3 kg minimum, and it takes three days longer.
From 3 kg upward, if six to seven days is acceptable. At 10 kg it is ₹1,614 against ₹2,593; at 25 kg, ₹4,034 against ₹6,483.
₹242 for 500 g and ₹1,106 for 3 kg on the Standard document scale. The Premium document product starts at ₹496.
On volumetric weight, if that exceeds the actual weight. Dimensions in centimetres, multiplied together and divided by 5000. Pack tight and you pay less.
Yes, off the same band. Share the pincode and we will confirm the rate first.
