North Gujarat prices on the Gujarat card, zone Z4, service DNB, and it is quicker than the zone suggests: 2–3 days by air against 5–6 by road. Most of what we book here is industrial — pump parts, fittings, instrument spares — so the weight slabs matter more than the headline rate.

Mehsana is a Z4 destination on the DNB service, but its transit reads better than that band usually does — 2–3 days by air, only a day behind the metro lanes. The road tier runs 5–6 days.
For an industrial town that combination is useful, because it gives you a genuine choice rather than a foregone conclusion. A pump seal or an instrument card that has stopped a line goes by air at ₹415 for the first kilogram and lands inside three days. A pallet of fittings that is simply restocking a store goes by road: ₹1,614 at ten kilograms against ₹2,593, ₹4,036 at twenty-five against ₹6,481, ₹8,072 at fifty against ₹12,962. Three extra days, roughly a third off.
Engineering goods have one quiet advantage here. Castings, fasteners and machined parts are dense, so the scale weight almost always exceeds the volumetric calculation — length × width × height in centimetres over 5000 — and you are billed on what the parcel actually weighs. Send the same value of packaging material or moulded plastic and the volume figure takes over. If you are not sure which side your consignment falls on, give us the dimensions and we will work it out first.
Below three kilograms, ignore the road column: its minimum is ₹484, above the ₹415 air rate, and it costs you three days on top. The express tier delivers in 2 days for ₹813 — a day faster than Standard at twice the price, which is worth it on a breakdown and not much else. Documents run on two lines here: ₹242 for 500 g on the ordinary one, ₹496 on the express.
One thing this district asks about more than most: fluids. Lubricants, oilfield chemicals, sample bottles, ghee, anything decanted — none of it can be carried on any DTDC service, regardless of packing or quantity. Dry components, sealed packaged goods and factory-sealed medicines are all fine.
