There is one thing worth understanding about this lane before anything else. Mumbai costs the same as Delhi on our card — ₹363 for the first kilo — but it does not move on the same network. Delhi is a Z3 destination on the air product and clears in 1–2 days. Mumbai is Z4 on DNB and takes 3–4 days on Standard. Identical price, roughly double the time. If you have shipped to Delhi with us and assumed Mumbai behaves the same way, that is the assumption to drop.
Premium shortens it to a 3-day commitment for ₹709 a kilo. Against a Standard window of 3–4 days, what you are buying is certainty about the fourth day rather than a dramatic gain. It is worth paying on dated deliveries and hard to justify otherwise.
Surface takes 5–6 days and is priced ₹380 up to its 3 kg minimum. That minimum makes it pointless for small parcels — ₹380 by road against ₹363 by Standard for a single kilo, two days later. From 5 kg it turns: ₹634 against ₹1,095, and at 10 kg ₹1,268 against ₹2,190. Household goods and stock replenishment belong here; anything a customer is waiting on does not.
