Distance is a poor guide to speed in courier work, and Sonipat proves it. It is further from Bangalore than Indore or Thane, yet Standard clears in 1–2 days where those take four and three. The reason is routing: Haryana sits inside the NCR air catchment on DTDC’s DAR service.
Because Standard is already quick, Premium has very little room to work. It compresses 1–2 days into a firm one day and charges ₹709 at 1 kg where Standard charges ₹415 — worth it against a tender closing tomorrow, and not much else.
Surface is the mirror image: 4–5 days, priced for bulk. Below 3 kg it is a bad deal on both axes, at ₹484 against ₹415. From 3 kg it turns, and by 10 kg you are paying ₹1,614 instead of ₹2,593.
On paperwork, the Haryana card carries both document products: ₹242 for 500 g on the standard one, ₹432 on Premium. A light envelope is cheapest as a document — ₹242 undercuts the ₹415 a one-kilo Standard parcel costs — and only past three kilos does the parcel column take over.
