Contracts, transcripts, tender bids, certificates. Paper is billed on its own ladder that runs 500 g, 1, 2 and 3 kg — and knowing where that ladder beats the parcel rate is worth more than any discount we could offer you.
Documents are not priced like parcels. They have their own four-rung ladder — 500 g, 1 kg, 2 kg and 3 kg — and it does not behave the way most people assume.
At 500 g the document rate is the cheapest thing on the entire card. ₹104 within Bangalore, ₹127 to the rest of Karnataka, ₹156 across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Goa, ₹219 to Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata, ₹242 to NCR and the rest of India. GST is already in every one of those.
At exactly 1 kg the document rate and the parcel rate are identical — ₹196 to the rest of Karnataka, ₹236 across the south, ₹363 to the metros, ₹415 to the rest of India. There is nothing to choose between them.
At 2 kg the document rate is the cheaper of the two, because parcels have no 2 kg slab and get rounded up to 3 kg. Two kilos of paper to the southern states is ₹398 as a document against ₹519 as a parcel; to Delhi, ₹651 against ₹657; to most of India, ₹761 against ₹830.
At 3 kg it flips and the parcel rate wins everywhere — ₹519 against ₹559 across the south, ₹657 against ₹939 to Delhi, ₹830 against ₹1,106 to most of India. At or above 3 kg, box it and book it as a parcel; above 3 kg the document ladder stops existing anyway. The rate page covers slabs and volumetric weight in full, and each destination page carries the exact ladder for that lane.

GST included. A faster Premium document is sold on most lanes — ₹403 across the south, ₹432 to the metros and NCR, ₹496 elsewhere — but not on Karnataka lanes, where only the standard document exists.

Keep it under 500 g — ₹104 within Bangalore, ₹127 elsewhere in Karnataka, ₹156 across the southern states, ₹219 to Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata, GST included. A few sheets in a sleeve are nowhere near 500 g, so almost every ordinary document qualifies.
Parcel, without exception. At 3 kg the parcel slab is cheaper on every zone — ₹519 against ₹559 across the south, ₹657 against ₹939 to Delhi, ₹830 against ₹1,106 to most of India. Box it.
Yes on most lanes. Premium documents are ₹403 for 500 g across the south, ₹432 to the metros and NCR and ₹496 to the rest of India, and are next day to Delhi and NCR. Karnataka lanes sell no Premium document at all — only the standard one, already one to two days.
That zone's standard document ladder starts at 1 kg, at ₹553. The only sub-kilo option is the Premium document at ₹496 — which, unusually, costs less than the standard 1 kg rung. It is the one place on the card where the fast tier is also the cheap one.
Sealed in a tamper-evident sleeve at the counter and booked with signature-required delivery, so the proof of delivery names who accepted it. For originals with no copy, ask for declared-value cover — standard carrier liability is limited and will not reflect what they are worth to you.
